Change the administrator password:
Net user administrator *

Rename the computer:
netdom renamecomputer <current name> /newname:<new name> /force /reboot

Reboot the system:
Shutdown /r

Configure a static IP address:
Netsh interface ipv4 set address name=”Local Area Connection” source=static address=192.169.1.100 mask=255.255.255.0

Point to a DNS server:
Netsh interface ipv4 add dnsserver name=”Local Area Connection” address=192.168.1.1

Change the time zone:
Control timedate.cpl

Join a domain:
Netdom join %computername% /domain:<domain name> /userd:<user name> /passwordd:*
**Note** there are 2 d’s in the passwordd switch

Disjoin from a domain:
Netdom remove

Discover available server roles:
Oclist

To install a server role:
Start /w ocsetup <name of server role>

To uninstall a server role:
Start /w ocsetup <name of server role> /uninstall

Enable remote desktop administration:
Cscript %windir%\system32\scregedit.wsf /ar 0

Enable automatic updates:
Cscript scregedit.wsf /AU 4

Activate the server:
Slmgr.vbs -ato
